Calling All Volunteers!

Volunteers are the backbone of the Newburyport Literary Festival. Their work and dedication assure that the Festival runs smoothly and the attendees enjoy themselves to the fullest.

The Festival offers many volunteer opportunities for individuals as well as for book groups, writing groups, librarians, honor societies, and school service groups.

Over 100 volunteers help
prepare for and work at the
Festival which will be held:
 Friday, April 26 and
Saturday, April 27, 2013

Volunteers are needed
for the following activities:

  • Hang booth signs
  • Help set up event venues
  • Give directions, hand out
    Festival guides, count attendees
  • Deliver books to events
  • Deliver flowers and messages
    and run errands
  • Assist in author autograph areas
  • Assist with children’s events
  • Help with clean up
  • Assist facilities crew as needed
  • Assist committee members as needed
